    1. I really liked the sequel It felt like catching up with some scandalous old friends The fact that their children have also grown up and have some scandalous behavior added to the story nicely If their is a third book I would like to see the characters become the adults they already are and start to act like it Affairs and trying to make someone jealous of the material things one has seems so high school.

    2. Another one of my favorite authors I have never read anything by Bettye Griffin that I didn t love She is a great story teller This one was awesome I read it straight through and loved it Its all about drama in the upper middle class neighborhood Everyone s involved in some kinda dramaLOVED IT

    3. Prequel sucks and is hard to follow, but this one Lots of juicy, page turning morsels and I think the author had a good editor this time Continuity was perfect, it wasn t confusing and it was a pleasure to read But, it left me wanting Deeper character development and story lines, and an ending that doesn t feel rushed.

    4. This book was a catch up to two different books, The People next door and Nothing but trouble It was great to see what happened to the characters of both books I was not aware that it contained people from both books until I started reading it I really enjoyed seeing the outcome.

    5. I stayed up all night reading this book I had to find out what would happen Not once did I get tired or bored with the story It held me all night Great flow, plot, characters the whole nine yards Loved it And I even liked the ending.

    6. I am beginning to see a pattern with many of the books I am reading, and is very frustrating Many books dealing with infidelity, show no growth in the men who cheat, and assign equal blame to the female partner Although it may take two to put a marriage in trouble, the decision to cheat is not made by the two people in the established relationship, rather it is a unilateral decision by the cheater When that person, in ridiculous ways, justifies his cheating, acts like it won t do harm to his wif [...]

    7. More Money More Problems The Betancourts of Jacksonville are among the elite in the community, with their champagne taste and caviar dreams Living the life they ve always dreamed, it couldn t get any better On the outside looking in it s all peaches and cream Underneath the surface, dealing with drama from family members and insecurities is placing a strain on Brad and Suzanne s marriage, which may lead to infidelity Trouble Down the Road was a good read There were plenty of issues and drama tha [...]

    8. Ms Griffin does it again I fell in love with the Betencourt Danfield saga in Ms Griffin s previous book and was excited to see a sequel and to be able to go back into the lives of my favorite Jacksonville residents This sequel didn t disappoint as I had to force myself to put the book down for mundane tasks like cooking and sleeping I wasn t able to resist for too long and finished this book in two days Full of drama and plot turns, I also enjoyed the character development that accompanied some [...]

    9. This was a book club selection which turned out to be better than the previous installment by this author We see the same characters five years after The People Next Door plus some new characters for plot twists The keeping up with the Joneses drama from the previous book has settled down Now we have so many complicated relationships the author felt compelled to explain over and over again until I wanted to scream it s not rocket science Most of the characters reached a level of maturity that I [...]

    10. I stopped listening about halfway through the book I just couldn t get into the story It may be of the narrator s voice than the story itselft sure I ll try reading in on Kindle instead.
